2023 Programme

of Events

Our year is split between a mixture of club competitions throughout the winter months and outdoor activities when the weather is better. September to June, we usually meet on Thursday evenings at 8pm on Zoom, or at the Pembroke Hotel, Kilkenny (check current restrictions).

Where possible, KPS host a number of activities for members, including studio lighting and practical workshops. From June, our outdoor calendar commences and the club aim to meet for photo-walks, visiting local areas to photograph and other group activities. Members are advised via email notifications on meeting times and locations.

Light Painting Evening

Denis O'Reilly will show prints of his light paintings. Denis and John Cuddihy will give light painting demonstrations. Members can then create their own light paintings using their own props and gear.

Dan will give a demonstration on Adobe Lightroom and Seamus will talk about what's involved in applying for L, A and F-ships, giving a judges' insight and viewpoint and showing some images.
