We run club competitions each year with members competing against each other.

These competitions can encourage members to improve technical ability, better visually represent a theme and receive feedback on their output.

Themes challenge interpretive ability, creative expression and practical execution

The competition has three levels: Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.

The accumulated scores are tallied for each competitor to reveal who received most points across all competitions, thus becoming the ‘Photographer of the Year’ (PotY).

The themes for this year’s competitions are listed below.
